Been a while since Ive been this wet in a tent. θ¬| ... It leaks like a sieve, right thru the fabric. Laying here with 2 gallons of water under the air mattress and the blankets are soaked. However, I really love the size for 2 people, considering it fits perfectly in the bed of our 6-6" truck bed. Also I doubt you'll find another tent this size with the door on the narrow side, which is what we were looking for. Most tents are 5x7 to the outside of the poles at the corners and are too small for a full size mattress inside. We are 5-11" and 5-5" and have a good size dog with us as well. And the tent goes up in a jiffy. Obviously for $20ish bucks its not supposed to be a Cadillac. We will try some scotch guard and seam glue b4 we give up on this thing.I live in a 7 cat household and bought this tent solely to create a cat-free zone in which I could relax. 5 of the little buggers always want to do everything I do so they were not happy about being barred from the tent and have done everything in their power to break inside. In the three weeks I have owned this tent it has been subjected to severe abuse yet it still stands firm. Daily, I have had cats literally body slam the tent. They paw the zippers, and climb the mesh.... correction, they climb the entire tent as if it were a tree.I had assumed the shape and give of a dome tent would deter cats and make them feel unstable. But apparently my cats don't have the same neurosises of normal cats. 2 of them have found great fun in bouncing around on the top and then they will spread out their arms and let go on purpose, sliding down the side of the tent headfirst just as an otter does to a snow bank. When I am inside the tent I can see a hundred tiny pinpricks from claws, but the holes are totally undetectable from the outside. The mesh doors are nice and strong, they have not ripped in the slightest despite cats climbing and hanging there. The zippers also have held up with no visible wear and they are strong too. Yes, 1 pole did eventually shatter a little but it was easily fixed with tape and a splint and it's still going strong.3 weeks in, the kitties have mellowed a bit and don't abuse the tent quite as much as before. I believe this tent could survive an entire year or two in my household before it needed replacing. The place where the tent poles seat themselves onto the base is not reinforced with a grommet but is only a pocket. It's the only weak spot I can see that will likely break under normal use. Mine ripped out there but again, it was easily fixed with a small strip of gorilla tape. 5 stars does not mean I am in love with this tent, rather 5 stars means this tent has performed exceptionaly well within its scope. That being; a tent made for occasional use during mild weather in a backyard, field or sheltered campground and nothing more. I would never dream of taking this hiking or backpacking and can't imagine why someone would. When manufacturers call a tiny piece of nylon the size of a bandana, a rain fly, I can only hang my head and laugh. But within the scope I have previously mentioned this tent is perfect.1. All the seams are straight and strong.2. The material is Very durable and won't rip easily.3. The bathtub floor is basically tarp material, thus also durable.4. I found when comparison shopping that this tent size/price combo was far better than anything Walmart offered.5. The dark blue color is inducive for a good rest inside.6. The tent can be used freestanding without need to stake it down.In conclusion: There is not a lot of ventilation in the tent, it holds heat well and would be a perfect tent for fall weather. A good tent to give to children for a camp out. Nice and roomy for 1 adult of average height. Intimate and snuggly for two people of average weight. A tall person can lay diagonal inside the tent.Loaded this tent on my backpack for a hike in and camp in a canyon. It isn't too big to carry and it was narrow enough to be strapped easily to a backpack. It fit 2 people with our backpacks snugly. May leave our backpacks outside next time. I ordered the large for extra room since we have family members that are 6' (hoping they can use it too). My daughter and I are about 5'3" 120-160 lbs & we kept backpacks in the tent at our feet. I think this tent will fit someone 6 feet. I read in a review that the the entrance zipper doesn't completely close (there is a small gap where the zippers meet) and I discovered it was true so if you are camping in rain or snow, I would look elsewhere or be prepared with a tarp. Our camping conditions were dry and warm and this tent served its purpose! I really like it. It does have one handy pocket on the inside. Set up and break down was super simple and it does have instructions if needed. I gave it 4 stars because the storage bag began to tear at the seams after just one use. It does NOT have a small tarp/mat for the entrance to put outside the tent.I recently took this on a four day trip in a state park, which was also my first time camping in years. And this tent was just about perfect. It's very easy to put up, and so long as you keep the entrance closed, kept out the bugs and weather. It rained the weekend of that trip, and the tent did a fine job keeping me dry. Although I will say, since it was heavy rain, it started condensing inside? And I know it wasn't from the heat because it was all around the sides. it wasn't very bad, but just enough to be a bit of an annoyance. So I don't know if I'd really recommend it for heavy rains. But otherwise, it's a great tent. The bag it goes in is pretty small and easy to carry, and it had just enough room for me to put in my twin sized fold out bed and mattress with my bag next to it. The description says that this is a two person tent? I guess if you really want to squeeze two people inside, you probably can. But I say its better as a one-person tentIt's a one person tent, small and light enough to fit it in a backpack. Perfect for someone travelling by foot or bike. Very easy to install. The downside though is that it's really not waterproof. I got soaked wet during rain. This tent doesn't offer enough rain protection. So mind that you'll have to provide some kind of shelter on top of your head. This tent is small. You can fit two people but only if you're shorter than 6 foot and of average or slim build. Makes a great 1 man backpacking tent because it's so small and light. Bottom seems very durable. Only complaints are the cheap zippers and the non-waterproof part. But unbeatable for the priceLlegó en perfectas condiciones, es muy ligera, cabe una persona agusto o dos acurrucadas, no es impermeable, la usé en la montaña y la brisa logró filtrarse un poco, si hubiese llovido, no hubiera aguantado, pero para el precio, estoy mas que satisfecho :DMy daughter bought this tent to camp out in the yard it’s held up great threw a few storms lol I honestly had to evict her from the tent lol it’s perfect for one person a bit cramped for 2 all in all great buyI used this on a motorcycle camping trip and it was perfect. Easy to set up and take down, lightweight, and fit me and a large pack. I'm not a little guy (6'4" and about 250 lbs.) And I had enough room to be comfortable. Unfortunately the tent didn't survive the ride home, but I'll be replacing it.
