I knew I was buying a child's toy at a cheap price point, so I'm not at all dissatisfied with the quality of this item with those expectations. My niece just turned 7 and she is a certified wild child, and being the cool aunt, I got her this for her birthday. That was two months ago, and with near daily use, her mother has informed me that it is showing zero signs of wear, though the target was quickly abandoned in favor of more interesting victims. Up til then, however, it did stick to the target most of the time. It does need batteries for the light-up function, but we never bothered to put any in and she doesn't care. She is happy, my wallet is happy, her mom is annoyed, the neighbor's cat is traumatized... win-win all around.Arm of the bow broke off the within a few months. My son was so excited for this toy. It didn’t shoot far but he still used his imagination till a short drop irreparably busted it.
