I do like this clock.The pros are that it's easy to read day or night, it looks elegant when lit and inverses the color scheme, it doesn't require an unsightly cord, it seems to be very accurate as a timepiece so far, and even the temperature is accurate so long as it's calibrated correctly.The cons are the high price for sub par materials (99% plastic), the 4 D cell + 1 AAA cell batteries required, and the overall cheap fit and feel.That said, you don't really notice any of the cons when it lights up at sunset and turns a few heads. Overall, a recommended buy.I have this clock on the side of my barn. It's large enough that I can see it from quite a distance so is very easy to keep track of time when I'm out and about with barn chores.The only issue is No lights can be on in order for the sensor to sense when it's dark. Not even low light. But...if you turn lamps off, then back on after the clock lights up, it Then will stay lit.We really like this outdoor clock because it lights up after dark. First clock I bought that has a light on it after dark. Will buy again if needed.Great clock. The size is perfect for my medium size living room. Easy to read, accurate, and quiet and the nighttime light is a nice feature.a little pricier then I like to spend on a clock but that's because all my living room clocks seem to die at about year 3. So if this one lasts 6 or more years then that wouldn't be so bad.Clear numbering, easy to see. Lights up bright when it’s dark outside. Easy to hang. Takes quite a few D batteries. Back is sealed nicely.Seems to be holding up well, though it’s been less than a month. So, I’ll update if my opinion or experience with this clock changes.Clock is easy to read from a distance & really bright at night. Thermometer is harder to read from a distance, but overall effect works.Love how easy it is to see, especially at night. Great buy!Have had this clock for 16 months and have been very pleased with it. Although the temperature hand has gone rusty it was still working. However, after fitting a new battery for the time this week it stopped working. Seeing as the guarantee period was up, my husband tried to fix it and, like in some previous reviews, the hands came loose so we can no longer use it. Very disappointing!
